Should not the 360 radial point to the magnetic (compass) north? Scenario -------- What do you do when you discover a mechanical oversight thats probably not a safety issue but leaves your airplane technically unairworthy and theres no one around to fix it? Can you remedy the situation yourself? Or is it better to act as if you never noticed it in the first place? QoTM ---- What is the Visual Portion of the Final Segment on an approach? Could it create any restrictions? On the RNAV (GPS) RWY 2 approach to Hartford, CT(HFD)), is there a meaning behind the height of the 2032 obstacle (west side of the final approach course) being depicted in the larger font than all the other obstacles? Scenario -------- Its been a brutal flight. Every smart move to evade the ice, and then the turbulence, worked at first and then fell apart. You make the smart move to divert, only to find the weather relents on final approach. Now youre on the ground wondering if one more smart move would bring victory or catastrophe. 1H0 Pilot Lounge 1 February 2022 1830 CST
