Two IMC Questions of the Month:

1) What is the difference between a MOCA and MRA on a VOR federal airway?

2) Under what conditions can a pilot deviate from an instrument approach
procedure to complete an approach and landing under IFR conditions
(Contact Approach)?

IMC Scenario of the Month:  You're making a 45 minute IFR flight into
Orange County Airport (KMGJ) in Montgomery, NY.  Given your fuel planning
and the airspace, are you prepared for encountering VFR traffic at the
destination?

After the scenario, share your experience with flying instrument
approaches and encountering VFR traffic at the destination, or listen to
others share their experience.
