This runway is preferred due to the instrument approach available and the current low ceiling conditions. The airplane youre flying has a published demonstrated crosswind capability of 17 knots. Is it legal to use this runway, or are you operating outside the limitations for the aircraft? Scenario ======== ATCs vectors to final routinely make approaches simpler for the pilot and all controllers to move more airplanes from the sky to the runway in quick succession. The problem comes when a last-minute change requires reprogramming the avionics and another airplane closing in means there isnt much time to get the right waypoints in the right places. 2 April 2024 1H0 Pilot Lounge 1830 CDT From members at stlaviationmeetup.org Wed Apr 3 19:17:59 2024 From: members at stlaviationmeetup.org (St. Louis Aviation Meetup Members List) Date: Wed, 3 Apr 2024 14:17:59 -0500 (CDT) Subject: [Members] [GL15127975] Pro Tips for Maintenance - Ramp Inspections for the Pilot / Mechanic and Dynamic Regulatory System - FAASafety.gov (fwd) Message-ID: Could be worth attending, .. the video on 'preserving your ticket when cost sharing' had pretty weird ideas, so it would be good to keep track of what they are doing - e.g. what is a "DRS"? ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: 3 Apr 2024 09:30:08 -0500 From: FAASafety.gov Subject: [GL15127975] Pro Tips for Maintenance - Ramp Inspections for the Pilot / Mechanic and Dynamic Regulatory System - FAASafety.gov -- FAASafety.gov -------------------------------------------------------- You have asked us to notify you when a webinar is scheduled that meets your criteria.
