If you are unable to attend Air Venture 2026 in Oshkosh, WIsconsin then these webinars are meant for YOU! Monday through Thursday our Pro-Tips Team will be present Live from Oshkosh along with our guest speakers. We will let you know the daily news along with the Topic of the Day.
Today's General Aviation Engines are extremely reliable however when they quit running the pilots very often do not respond timely or correctly and aircraft accidents show us these way too often. Our guest speaker Steve Lasday, CFI and FedEx Feeder will talk to you about the Startle Effect and why we have so many horrible outcomes resulting in loss of life. We will not only talk about statistics but rather let you know what you can do to best prepare for the unexpected.
The folks in the FAA and Indsutry CFIs believe that you can prepare for the Unexpected Emergency through proper training in simulators/aircraft so that you can continously improve your muscle memory in order to be ready for the Unexpected Failures.
