This is not quite right.
The scientific formulas are:
C to F: (Cdeg * 9/5) +32 = Fdeg
F to C: (Fdeg -32) * 5/9 - Cdeg
Ex: 100C * 9/5 = 180 + 32 = 212F (boiling point H20)
For quick calculations the estimating formula (discussed in the Tues
Meeting) is:
C to F: (Cdeg * 2) + 30 = approx Fdeg
F to C: (Fdeg -30 ) / 2 = approx Cdeg
ex. 17 C
exact: 17 * 9/5 + 32 = 62.6
approx: 17 * 2 + 30= 64
